About the F/V SWEET DREAM

Welcome aboard the F/V SWEET DREAM for your fishing charter. She is a custom built down east sport fish which we proudly launched in the 2015 season.

The F/V SWEET DREAM is a 38' Flowers hull custom finished by Cape Island Boats. With a beam of nearly 14' and powered by a 720HP diesel engine she tops out at over 28 knots and cruises comfortably in the low 20's. She is very stable and sea kind and has the speed and range to fish anywhere from offshore of Maine to the northeast canyons. She is rigged with the latest high end electronics including two 14" Furuno NAVnet integrated Chartplotters, 1KW CHIRP fishfinder and 6KW radar system. Also 3 VHF radios, satellite phone, auto-pilot and a FLIR thermal imaging night vision system for running at night. She is equipped with a large heated and air conditioned cabin, microwave oven and large enclosed head for your comfort (ladies take note!). The F/V SWEET DREAM accommodates up to 6 passengers and is equipped with more than the required Coast Guard safety equipment including survival suits, an EPIRB and life raft.

Captain Eric Sweet

Eric has been boating and fishing since birth(lucky him!). He recently earned his captains license. He serves as either Captain or mate on our charters. He is highly experienced and his sole job is to keep you fishing and take great care of you. He is the cockpit boss, expert bait rigger, master filleter and sets a mean tuna trolling spread. No one can beat a giant tuna quicker
